Police identify victim of Saturday homicide

The Prince Albert Police Service have identified 44-year-old Norman Charles Custer as the victim of a homicide that occurred on Saturday in the 900 Block of 17th Street West.

Initial calls to Police, Prince Albert Fire Department and Parkland Ambulance were of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

The PAPS Criminal Investigations Division were able to confirm that Custer died as a result of a gunshot wound and there was no evidence of him being struck by a vehicle.
