Provincial law enforcement members wrote 8,081 tickets for speeding and aggressive driving in April, 46 of which were for exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/hr.

Officers issued 433 tickets for speeding in school zones and 341 for exceeding the 60 km/hr speed limit while passing a stopped emergency vehicle with lights flashing, They wrote 247 tickets for exceeding the speed limit by 35 km/hr.

Those numbers do not include tickets issued via photo radar.
