A 25-year-old woman is in custody after she allegedly threatened staff and attempted to steal property from a local store.
Officers arrested the woman in the 1000 Block of 15th Street East Tuesday night after receiving a report of a woman threatening staff and attempting to steal from a nearby store.
Police were called to the area just before 9:30 p.m. They found a woman matching the description of the suspect. After further investigation, they found a knife hidden in her waistband.
The woman has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and theft.
