Brent Stewart’s Rod Stewart tribute has been called as close to the real thing as you can get, with a voice so similar producers use it to pitch songs to the legend himself

The E.A. Rawlinson Centre will be rocking with the sounds of the legendary Rod Stewart Friday night.

But it won’t be Rod Stewart himself performing.

Instead, Brent Stewart will bring his tribute act to Prince Albert.

Brent Stewart has been called as close to the real thing as you can get.

According to his manager, Cris Schandl, even musicians who have toured with both Rod Stewart himself and with the tribute show say it’s just like the real thing.

According to the show’s website, “Brent’s voice is so amazingly similar to Rod’s that he has actually been hired to sing on recording sessions for producers and songwriters who are pitching their songs to Rod. No one other than Rod himself sounds this close.”

The show kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at the Rawlinson Centre. Tickets are $30.
