The province of Saskatchewan reported three deaths related to COVID-19 on Sunday.
One death was reported in the Far North Central zone in the 60 to 69 age group. There was also one death in the North West zone in the 70 to 79 age group and one death in the Regina zone in the 50 to 59 age group.
The number of deaths in the province has grown to 339.
There were 194 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the province on Saturday.
The North Central zone, which includes Prince Albert, reported 18 new cases.
North Central 2, which is Prince Albert, has 89 active cases.
North Central 1, which includes communities such as Christopher Lake, Candle Lake and Meath Park, has 57 active cases and North Central 3 has 60 active cases.
Ten case with pending residence information was added to the North Central.
There are currently 211 people in hospital overall in the province. Of the 183 reported as receiving in patient care there are 22 in North Central. Of the 28 people reported as being in intensive care there are two in North Central.
The province also noted that total hospitalizations (in-patient and ICU) include both infectious and non-infectious COVID-19 cases receiving care.
The current seven-day average is 220, or 17.9 cases per 100,000 population.
Of the 25,403 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 2,363 are considered active.
The recovered number now sits at 22,701 after 241 more recoveries were reported.
The total numbers of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 25,403 of those 6,680 cases are from the North area (2,649 North West, 2,993 North Central and 1,038 North East).
There were 774 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered yesterday in Saskatchewan bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 42,296.
Due to weather issues, the number of vaccines administered yesterday was lower than targeted; reporting delays may also contribute to an underestimate of doses administered. With this, 95 per cent of the doses received have been administered to date.
There were 93 doses administered in the North Central zone yesterday. Other zones where vaccines were administered included the Far North East, North West and Central West.
Back-dated corrections submitted for Feb. 5 have realized an additional 238 doses of vaccine administered in the North West and Far North Central.
Pfizer orders have been updated for March 1 and March 8 to be 23,400 doses in total.
These will be administered in Prince Albert, Shellbrook, Big River, Spiritwood, North Battelford, Wilkie, Broadview, Wawtota and Yorkton.
The province noted that locations are subject to change should allocation from Pfizer change.
There were 2,357 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Feb. 6.
As of today there have been 526,579 COVID-19 tests performed in Saskatchewan.
