Police have identified 27-year-old Dorian Gene Michel as the victim of a homicide that occurred on Monday.

Police continue to investigate the crime, and ask anyone with information about it to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or call the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222.

The incident occurred at a residence in the 400 block of 18th Street West on Monday, July 27. Police were dispatched to the scene around 12:30 a.m. after reports of a serious assault. Michel was alive at the time, but succumbed to his injuries while being transported to hospital.

An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday.
