The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating a late-night stabbing that occurred in a parking lot Tuesday.
According to a media release, police were called to the 100 Block of 13 Street West for a report of a stabbing just before midnight. Police tape remained Wednesday morning, cordoning off a portion of the Gateway Mall’s northwest parking lot.
One woman was taken to the hospital by parkland Ambulance, but she later succumbed to her injuries.
Members from the Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Section are investigating.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide, the city’s fifth so far in 2020 and the second this week.
