Police looking for suspect who allegedly robbed store armed with tools

Police are investigating a report that a man robbed a store armed with a hammer and a screwdriver.

The alleged robbery took place on Friday evening at a business on 5 Street East. Police arrived to find a lone employee, who told them that a man came in with his face covered. He was reportedly holding a screwdriver in one hand and a hammer in the other.

The employee told police that the man demanded cash and then fled on foot with money and lottery tickets.

The employee was not injured during the incident. Police are still looking for the suspect, who may have fled in a light grey car with a back window covered in clear plastic.
