Four golfers are left in the hunt for the 2021 Fountain Tire Men’s Lobstick title following quarter-final play in the championship flight on Friday morning at the Waskesiu Golf Course.
Michael Smith of Saskatoon will take on Trevor Bloom of Kelowna, B.C. in one semifinal, while the other final four contest will see Saskatoon’s Shaun Dunphy go up against Prince Albert’s Ashley Ziegeman.
Smith, who was the low qualifier for the event, defeated Colin Coben of Delisle in the quarter-final round, while Bloom beat Prince Albert’s Martin Ring.
Dunphy advanced with a victory over Regina’s Jason Galon and Ziegeman earned his final four berth with a triumph over Clavet’s Landon Emberley.
Both semifinals will get underway at 1 p.m. Friday with the final set for Saturday morning.
