A man accused of triple homicide in the deaths of his parents and young son has elected to have a judge and jury trial at Queens Bench in Prince Albert.

Nathaniel Carrier, the accused, is also charged with attempted murder after his young daughter was seriously injured in the alleged incident.

Carrier has not entered a plea and will do so at Court of Queens Bench, said crown prosecutor Douglas Howell.

Carrier had his attendance waived in provinicial court on Monday morning.

The next court date is on Feb. 12 at Queens Bench.
