147 new COVID-19 cases reported Monday

On Monday the province reported 147 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths of residents who tested positive for COVID-19.

The two residents who died were over 80 and from the North West zone.

There are three new cases of COVID-19 in North Central where Prince Albert is located. There are currently 180 active cases in the region.

In Prince Albert, designated as North Central 2, there is one new COVID-19 case, with an active case total of 86 in the city.

Across the province, 2,369 cases are considered active. On Sunday, there were 1,900 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan.

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 228, or 18.6 new cases per 100,000 population.

A total of 88 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered in the province on Sunday. There were no doses administered in the North Central zone on Sunday.

Vaccine doses were administered in Saskatoon (66) and the Far North East zone (22).

There are 202 people in the hospital. 172 people are receiving inpatient care, including 22 patients in the North Central zone. 30 people are in intensive care including two patients in the North Central zone.
