
Two men have been arrested after Prince Albert police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the unit block of 28th Street West shortly after 9 p.m.
A 19-year-old female suffering a minor injury was transported to the hospital by Parkland Ambulance.
Police arrested a man for impaired driving as well as his passenger—after investigating further, they found a machete, a hatchet and a little over five grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
A 22-year-old man is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving exceeding .08 and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
The other suspect, 23, is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, possession of methamphetamine and breach of court order.
Both were scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday.
