P.A. police looking for suspect in attempted robbery

UPDATED May 24, 2019 – The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) said the suspect has been identified. They thank the public for its assistance.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of being involved in an attempted robbery on Wednesday night.

Just after 10 p.m., officers were called to a business on the 3500 block of 2nd Avenue West, which is near Lakeland Ford.

According to a news release, an employee had confronted a woman who was trying to steal from the business.

She pulled out a knife before running away.

The staff member was not harmed and the woman was not successful in stealing anything.
