The Warman RCMP are currently on the scene of a train derailment near Wanuskewin.
The highway is blocked in both directions. Early investigation indicates the train has spilled grain.
Motorists are reminded to slow to 60 km/h and to be cautious when passing emergency workers.
Photos shared on social media show the train laying on its side, grain spilled out and flames shooting in the air. Traffic is being rerouted to Highway 12.
