Three arrested for intent of trafficking methamphetamine

Prince Albert’s Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) has arrested three people after a search warrant revealed drug trafficking items.

ISET is made up of members of both the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) and RCMP.

They searched a residence on the 400 block of 19th Street East at about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, finding 48.1 grams of methamphetamine, 17.6 grams of marijuana, 5.6 grams of hash oil, six cellphones, a weighing scale, baton and Canadian currency.

A 40-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman have been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property (Canadian currency) exceeding $5000 and possession of marijuana under 30 grams.

The man has also been charged with breaching his probation to not consume drugs and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

He appeared in Prince Albert court on Wednesday, while the two women have been released and face their charges on Nov. 6.
