The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) have arrested and charged a familiar face for threatening someone with a gun.
The suspect, who “is known to police,” was found hiding in the hallway of a residence on the 1200 block of 16th Street West after officers were dispatched around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday.
A news release said he threatened the victim with a sawed off rifle and wouldn’t let her leave.
The 25-year-old man is facing six firearms-related charges and a charge of unlawful confinement of the victim.
He was already under conditions prohibiting him from weapons.
