Next week at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre, one man will take the Prince Albert audience to a galaxy far, far away.
Canadian actor Charles Ross will be in town presenting his One-Man Star Wars Trilogy. The actor has brought his unique one-man take on the original trilogy more than 4,000 times to audiences in 500 cities across four continents over the past 15 years.
He plays all the characters, complete with spot-on impressions, sings the music, flies the ships and fights the battles, condensing the three movies into just over an hour of entertainment.
Fittingly, the show is coming to P.A. about 40 years after it originally premiered. Star Wars: A New Hope was originally released on May 25, 1977.
The Prince Albert Performance of One-Man Star Wars Trilogy is scheduled for April 25 at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $25 plus GST and service charges, and tickets are available at the Rawlinson Centre box office.
Audience members are encouraged to come in costume, but weapons and masks are not allowed.
