The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide at a business in Meadow Lake.
RCMP responded to a report of a shooting at about 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
Along with EMS, officers arrived to find a 23-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. He was declared dead in hospital.
Other RCMP resources, such as North Battleford Forensic Identification Services and the Emergency Response Team, were called to the scene to gather evidence. It’s since been cleared.
Investigators are still conducting witness interviews to gather more information on the circumstances leading to the man’s death.
