UPDATE: at 12:34 p.m. the Prince Albert police issued an update that the child had been identified and the family contacted.

The Prince Albert Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance to locate the family of a child found on Donaldson Street at 9 a.m. Friday.

The child is about two years old, and police have been unable to locate the child’s family. The child was brought to social services.

Anyone who has information about the identity of the child or the location of the family is asked to contact the police at 306-953-4222 and providing file number 19594.
