Police are asking for public assistance as they investigate an assault that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers were called to the 200 block of 12th Street East at roughly 1:15 a.m. after receiving reports of an intoxicated male in the area. Upon arrival, police found the man had suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Victoria Hospital and later transported to Saskatoon in good and stable condition.
