Prince Albert police have identified the man found dead inside a Prince Albert residence on Sunday as 23-year-old Drexlyr Randall Whitehead.

Police also confirmed Whitehead died of gunshot wounds. They have not made any arrests as of Tuesday morning.

Police consider Whitehead’s death to be a homicide and continue to investigate. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 306-953-4222, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police found Whitehead’s body at around 2 p.m. on Sunday while investigating a weapon’s complaint at a residence on the 1900 Block of 14th Street West.
