Dallyn Peekeekoot is now a member of the Prince Albert Raiders.

The 16-year-old from Ahtahkakoop First Nation signed a standard player agreement with the WHL club on Tuesday and will make his debut this afternoon against the Brandon Wheat Kings at the Brandt Centre after passing Saskatchewan Health Authority and Western Hockey League protocols.

A 10th round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, Peekeekoot has spent the last two seasons with the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan Male Under-18 AAA Hockey League.

He had 15 points in 35 regular season games for the team and also had two points in four games at last year’s Mac’s Tournament in Calgary.

Peekeekoot joins forward Niall Crocker, defenceman Graydon Gotaas and blueliner Tre Fouquette as members of the team’s 2019 draft class that have signed with the Raiders.

Crocker and Gotaas are both with the club in Regina, while Fouquette is expected to compete for a spot next year after spending the last two seasons with the Mintos.
