The Western Hockey League (WHL) announced Tuesday that the Kelowna Rockets have suspended all team activities as a result of a positive COVID-19 test. The positive test was in a hockey staff member of the team. No players have tested positive at this time.

The WHL is working in consultation with BC Health Authorities.

As a result, Tuesday’s game against the Kamloops Blazers has been postponed.

The WHL said it will not provide any further comment at this time. Pending the determination of close contacts and further test results, more information could be provided at a later date.
