A man has been taken into custody after running naked through Superstore Sunday.

Just after 7 p.m. on March 3, officers responded to the store for a complaint of a disturbance. Officers were advised of an unknown man inside the store, hallucinating and destroying property.

Officers found a man who ignored verbal commands and attempted to flee on foot. Officers arrested the man, who continued to struggle with police while being transported to a patrol car.

A video posted to social media shows the man running through the store, throwing what appear to be small bags of rice at other customers, before slinking sideways down an aisle.

A short while later, the man is chased down by a police officer, who takes down the man midway through the aisle.

A 50-year-old Prince Albert man has been charged with mischief, assaulting a police officer, obstructing a police officer, indecent act and breach of a court order. He made his first court appearance Monday.
