Police arrested the last of five suspects in the homicide investigation of La Ronge woman Sheena Billette on Tuesday.

RCMP say Prince Albert police located Charlie Napthalie Charles in a home within the city. The 25-year-old, along with four others, is charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement.

A fifth suspect is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

On Dec. 23, 2019, a driver spotted Billette’s body along Highway 102 just north of La Ronge. An autopsy in the coming days led officers to investigate her death as a homicide.

Charles will remain in custody until his first court appearance in La Ronge on Thursday.
