Introducing your page
Peter Lozinski is the managing editor of the Prince Albert Daily Herald.

Ever since I told people I was going to move to P.A. to take this job here, and even since I arrived, people have been asking me one question – why?

There seems to be this perception out there that, to quote one person I know from the southern part of the province, “P.A. is a dump.”

I strongly disagree.

Prince Albert is an incredibly vibrant community with hundreds of caring people and dozens of exciting, important community events.

We do everything we can to cover as many of these events as we possibly can, but invariably, some get missed.

Prince Albert’s greatest asset is its people.

We want to use this great asset to help us, help you show your community spirit in the pages of our newspaper.

That’s why we’re introducing Your P.A.ge. Your Page is a weekly feature collecting all of the amazing projects, fundraisers, initiatives and community events from the past week. You’ll see it appear on Wednesday, helping bringing a positive spin and smile to get you over the hump of the middle day of the workweek.

We will still work to cover the community events important to you, but we need your help.

Simply submit your photo and a brief write-up about your event and it will be included in Your Page.

This isn’t an advertisement – there is no cost to submit this content. It is simply a way for us to celebrate all of the things that make P.A. great.

Photos and information can be sent to editorial@paherald.sk.ca.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 306-765-1302. I’m open to any and all suggestions.

I’m looking forward to continuing to help build a stronger community, and celebrating the great things P.A. has to offer.

This is your P.A., your paper and your page.
