A police dog helped officers catch a break-and-enter suspect Thursday.

At 4:11 a.m., patrol officers were investigating a break-in of a shed on the 200 block of 20 Street East. They secured video of a suspect.

Just a few blocks away, Police Service Dog Febee and her handler found a 22-year-old man with a backpack matching what they saw on video.

The man, hailing from La Ronge, was carrying a headlamp and a small blue flashlight. He is charged with break and enter and providing a false name to an officer.
