Paddockwood country singer Larry Krause performs “rare” Prince Albert concert
Larry Krause doesn’t get the chance to perform in Prince Albert very often.
The Paddockwood-based country singer has been nurturing a following in Southern Saskatchewan and throughout Alberta “cowboy country,” but now, for the first time since he can’t remember when, he’s bringing his show to P.A.
“Over the last few years I’ve been doing fewer and fewer concerts in Prince Albert and spending more of my time farther afield in Alberta and all over and this is just kind of a nice opportunity to come back in, have kind of an unplugged, acoustic songwriter’s type of an evening,” the country singer said.
“To be able to come here, sort of in my backyard, and just kind of relax and not have to drive six hours for starters is kind of nice. But secondly, I’ve got a lot of friends around Prince Albert and here’s a good opportunity to come on out and spend the evening together.”
