Studio 1010’s winter art show returns to the John V. Hicks Gallery

Winter has arrived in Prince Albert and that means it’s time for coats, boots and Studio 1010’s annual winter Art Show and Sale.

P.A.’s Studio 1010 artists’ group has been in existence for around 10 years and during that time the group has been meeting weekly at the P.A. Arts Centre. The members create their work on the main floor and then display their work upstairs at the Jon V. Hicks Gallery.

This year’s winter show runs until Oct. 23 at the John V. Hicks Gallery and the group is holding a reception at the gallery on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Studio 1010 member June Ricklefs said the exhibit will be a mix of new work as well as pieces that have been shown before. Some of the items were completed during the group’s sessions at the Arts Centre, while other projects were finished on the artists’ own time.
