The Wild Rice Writers Group plan to host a Literacy Extravaganza to celebrate their 30th Anniversary, the group and it’s contributions to the community, beginning at 2 p.m., Sat. April 22 at the Alex Robertson Public Library.
The Literacy Extravaganza will feature readings, refreshments and door prizes.
The Wild Ricers have seen authors and composers come and go over their 30-year history. They have facilitated and celebrated the publishing of books and music
The Northern Advocate will carry more about the Wild Ricers in future editions.
Everyone is welcome to attend and share in the celebrations.
