Weapons bust leads to 30 charges for Prince Albert man

A 40-year-old man is facing 30 weapons and firearms-related charges following a traffic stop on Wednesday.

The Prince Albert Police Service’s Integrated Crime Reduction Team conducted the stop on the 1700 block of 13th Street West.

Upon further investigation, officers seized two firearms, methamphetamine, cash, ammunition, Gabapentin pills, hydromorphone, bear spray, a machete, a knife and currency in Canadian, American and Jamaican denominations.

A 33-year-old woman is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
