Two adults and a youth charged after drugs found in search

The Prince Albert Police Service announced Tuesday that three people have been charged with drug trafficking offences following an investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service’s Street Enforcement Team (SET) in coordination with the Prince Albert Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) and the Prince Albert detachment of the Saskatchewan RCMP.

According to a release, police acting on a search warrant searched a residence near Prince Albert on May 14. Upon further investigation, police located more than 900 grams of crack cocaine, just over 60 grams of methamphetamine, three imitation handguns, two magazines with functional ammunition and several cell phones.

Facing charges are Justin Vern Bear who is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in connection with this investigation. Police have also charged 34-year-old Natasha Marie Franc with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of prohibited ammunition. A 16-year-old youth is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking .
