This weekend Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Prince Albert is bringing together an eclectic collection of performers to celebrate diversity and raise funds.

“I was at the dress rehearsal and they’ve got some pretty good talent,” said Denise Wilkinson, a local poet and a member of P.A.’s Sans Nom writers’ group.

“I really enjoyed just sitting and listening to people practising.”

BBBS’ event, “Music Unites us All: Prince Albert Cultural Music Showcase,” is being held at Plaza 88 on Saturday, Nov. 19. Although most of the performers are musicians, the group also reached out to Sans Nom members to recite their poetry.
