The long journey that is the 2018-19 Western Hockey League season will get underway for the Prince Albert Raiders next weekend.
The team will kickoff their training camp for the upcoming campaign next Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre with a scrimmage at 6:15 p.m.
Scrimmages will continue through Monday, with all of the on-ice action being free for the public to attend.
The training camp will conclude with the annual Green and White game on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m.
Admission for that contest is $2 or a non-perishable food donation for the Prince Albert Food Bank.
Before the on ice action gets underway, the Raiders will hold their annual general meeting at the Ches Leach Lounge Tuesday at 7 p.m.
That meeting is open to all fans that hold a valid membership with the team.
The Raiders annual golf tournament, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, will be held next Thursday at the Cooke Municipal Golf Course at 1 p.m.
