Police make arrests in stolen vehicle recovery and robbery

Prince Albert police have made arrests in relation to a stolen vehicle recovery and robbery, both of which occurred on Monday.

A 31-year-old woman is facing several charges after police recovered a stolen vehicle on Monday morning on the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue East, which is near Dairy Queen.

They located a replica firearm, knife, hammer, baseball bat and ammunition inside.

The suspect’s charges include possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon.

Then, around 7:15 p.m., police responded to a robbery call at a business on the 2800 block of Sixth Avenue East.

Staff reported a man threatened them with a knife and then took an unknown amount of cash and sunglasses.

A patrol officer located the suspect nearby.

A 22-year-old man is charged with robbery, possession of a controlled substance and breach of court order.
