Prince Albert police are investigating a stabbing that took place outside of the Kinsmen Arena Wednesday night.
At 7:30 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault outside the arena, in the unit block of 28th Street West. Officers found a victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim and the accused are known to each other. Police said the attack, which took place outside the main doors, was not a random act and had nothing to do with activity going on inside.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the young offender accused in the incident. The victim is being treated at the Victoria Hospital and is in stable condition.
