When residents call the non-emergency line at 306-953-4222 they will be greated with an automated message that will directly connect them to the appropriate section of the police to deal with their call.

The service is also reminding residents that they can file a police report for non-emergencies online at www.papolice.ca. That system can be used for property damager, lost property, phone harassment and theft. The incident must have occurred within the city and have no known suspects.

According to a news release from the force, the services will make it easier for residents to report incidents.
