P.A. athletes help lead Saskatchewan athletics team to tri province victories

Photo Courtesy of Marc Smith/Discover Moose Jaw Shelaine Pritchard of St. Mary, middle, won a silver medal while her teammate Kiersten Kalmakoff, middle, captured the gold medal in the midget girls 80-metre hurdles on Friday at the SHSAA provincial track and field meet in Moose Jaw.

Six Prince Albert Athletes were a part of Team Saskatchewan squads that earned top results at the Western Canadian Tri Province Championship in Regina over the weekend.
Team Saskatchewan took first place in the U16 and U18 Female, combined U18 team scores and each of the WCSG division categories.

Saskatchewan finished second in U 16 overall, U16 men and U18 men.

Bode Bissky, Anthony Rock and Storm Zablocki competed on the men’s U16 team, while Rayne Cyr and Shelaine Pritchard were on the women’s U16 roster. Emily Cole-Johnson competed for the women’s U18 team.
