No injuries in bus collision

No one was injured after icy road conditions led to this collision between a bus and a pickup truck. (Peter Lozinski/Daily Herald)

No one was injured after a red pickup truck and a Sask. Rivers School Division school bus collided Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to the incident, which occurred one block north of Prince Albert Collegiate Institute (PACI) at First Avenue West and 22nd Street at about 3:30 p.m.

The bus did have students on board. They were disembarked and placed on a second bus.

Police said icy road conditions led to the acciident. No criminal charges will be laid.

The pickup suffered significant damage and was towed away.

The intersection was closed as emergency crews worked to clean up the scene. It was later re-opened.
