Prince Albert police are treating the death of a man who was found injured on the 900 block of 17th Street West as a possible homicide.

Police were called to the scene just after 5:30 p.m. on May 22, along with paramedics from Parkland Ambulance and members of the Prince Albert Fire Department. They found an injured man, who later died after being transported to Victoria Hospital.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday morning. Police say the manner of death will not be released at this time.
