The investigation into the cause of the Cloverdale Fire northeast of Prince Albert has concluded according to a release from the City of Prince Albert on Thursday morning.
“The cause of the fire is deemed to have been a lightning strike within the municipal boundaries of the City of Prince Albert. All other possible causes have been excluded,” the release stated.
Investigators from the Ministry of Environment, Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency and the City of Prince Albert completed the investigation.
