La Loche RCMP asking for public’s help in locating high risk offender

Ronald Glen Herman, 34, wanted in connection with assault that occurred on Christmas Day

The La Loche RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a 34-year-old man wanted in connection with an incident on Christmas Day.

Ronald Glen Herman of La Loche faces multiple charges including assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, and failure to comply with probation. The offences reportedly occurred in La Loche on Dec. 25, 2020.

After conducting local neighbourhood searches and talking with the community to try and find Herman, police have been unsuccessful.

Herman is described as around 6’ tall, 180 lbs and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen on Dec. 31 in La Loche and is known to frequent and reside there as well as Saskatoon.

Police consider Herman to be dangerous and a high risk to reoffend given his history and alleged involvement in this incident. Members of the public are advised against approaching him if they see him, and are asked to call their local police agency immediately.

Anyone who may have seen Herman or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call the RCMP at 306-310-7267 or their local police service. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Saskatchewan CrimeStoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or submitting a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com
