Prince Albert Outlaws unveil new uniforms

One month into their debut season with in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League the Prince Albert senior Outlaws finally have their own uniforms.

After gradually revealing portions of their jerseys on social media, the team officially unveiled their new look on Friday at Source for Sports, which along with Hillside Physical Health and Fitness sponsors the team and helped with the procurement of the uniforms.

“Everybody’s excited to use them, we can’t wait. They’re nice and light. It’ll be nice to retire the ones that we’ve been using, they were heavy and a little outdated,” Outlaws player-coach Lawrence Holizki said moments after donning the new sweater.

“Everybody’s excited. Anybody that isn’t working from the team is here today.”

The Outlaws had been wearing bright yellow jerseys that used to belong to the junior Predators team. With the bold words “Predators Lacrosse” across the chest the sweaters could be a source of confusion, especially when the Outlaws played exhibition games with the Predators.
