Officials are still investigating the cause of a house fire that occurred roughly 8 km northeast of Christopher Lake on Wednesday.
Crews from the Lakeland Fire Department arrived on scene at around 9:20 p.m. where they discovered the house completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading, but the house is a total loss.
The department says all occupants were able to safely exit the building.
