The Prince Albert Northern Bears will have a chance to come home with some hardware from the Mandi Schwartz Memorial Tournament in Wilcox Sunday.
They will be taking on a familiar foe in the bronze medal game at 1 p.m., as they’ll go up against the Regina Rebels.
The Bears competed in a hard-fought semifinal affair Saturday but dropped a 5-4 decision to the host Notre Dame Hounds.
Stats from that game were not available.
The Hounds will be taking on the Saskatoon Stars in the gold medal game Sunday, after the Stars won a 3-2 shootout affair over the Rebels.
Following the tournament, the Bears will return to league play on the road next weekend against the Swift Current Wildcats.
