There were 258 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the province on Sunday.
The North Central zone, which includes Prince Albert, reported 50 new cases.
North Central 2, which is Prince Albert, has 318 active cases.
North Central 1, which includes communities such as Christopher Lake, Candle Lake and Meath Park, has 109 active cases and North Central 3 has 79 active cases.
There was one case with pending information added to the North Central zone.
The North Central zone is second in the Active Case Breakdown with 506 active cases.
Regina is now reporting the most and Saskatoon is now third.
For the first time in the week there were no additional deaths reported in Saskatchewan.
The number of deaths in the province remains at 158.
There are currently 152 people in hospital overall in the province. Of the 114 reported as receiving in patient care there are 29 in North Central. Of the 38 people reported as being in intensive care there are five in North Central.
The current seven-day average is 181, or 15 cases per 100,000 population.
Of the 16,083 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 2,841 are considered active.
The recovered number now sits at 13,084 after 109 more recoveries were reported over the last two days.
The total numbers of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 16,083 of those 3,977 cases are from the North area (1,484 north west, 1,967 north central and 526 North East).
As of Jan. 3, 3,866 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have been provided to health care workers in Regina as part of the initial pilot and in Saskatoon as part of Phase 1. With the arrival of 4,900 doses of Moderna vaccine, the Far North Central and Far North West regions will start vaccinating priority populations beginning next week. This was announced by the province in a news conference on Dec. 22.
The Pfiizer vaccine is expected to be delivered to Prince Albert tomorrow.

As of today there have been 434,157 COVID-19 tests performed in Saskatchewan.
