5 charged with forgery, fraud after Wednesday residence search

Five people have been charged with forgery and fraud after police executed a search warrant at a Prince Albert home on Wednesday.

An investigation by the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) and the Criminal Investigations Division led to the search, which was executed by the SWAT team just before 4 p.m.

The residence on the 300 block of 20th Street East contained numerous rounds of ammunition, blank cheques from several businesses, multiple identification cards, templates used to make fake Saskatchewan and Alberta licenses, bear spray and other evidence relating to the production of fake documents.

Three men and two women are charged in connection to this incident.

Some are also charged with possession of ammunition while prohibited.
