A 20-year-old man is facing weapons-related charges in connection to an assault on Wednesday.
According to a news release, the man allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old woman at a home on the 1800 block of 17th Avenue West. Police were dispatched to the residence just before 8:30 p.m., locating a sawed-off rifle inside.
The suspect and victim are known to each other.
The man is also charged with uttering threats and breach of a court order in relation to this incident.
