Warman arrest warrant seizes guns and drugs

As part of an ongoing investigation, Warman RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the RM of Corman Park near Dalmeny Saturday evening.

With assistance from the Prince Albert Emergency Response Team, North Battleford Police Dog Services, Dalmeny Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service, two individuals inside the residence were arrested without incident.

Nine long barrel firearms and ammunition, three pellet guns, several knives, machetes and a baton were seized from the residents, along with quantities of what is believed to be methamphetamine and ecstasy and related drug paraphernalia.

Kristen Mitchener, 36, and Kendall Misponas, 27, of the Corman Park area have been both been charged with possession of a Schedule III Drug, two counts each of possession of a

Schedule I Drug, possession of firearms without being cardholders of a licence, possession of firearms knowing not a cardholder and possession of a firearm with the serial number defaced.

Mitchener is also charged with Breach of Undertaking.

The pair appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court Monday morning.
