A traffic stop ended in drug and break-and-enter charges for a Prince Albert duo Friday.

On March 30 at 8:40 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle for a Traffic Safety Act Investigation. The van pulled over to the side of the road, and the driver ran into a residence.

The lone officer approached the van and dealt with a woman sitting in the passenger seat. She was arrested for breaching a court order and possession of 3.4 grams of methamphetamine. She also identified the man who fled on foot.

The 24-year-old woman was due in court Tuesday.

Once additional officers arrived on scene, they approached the residence the driver entered. They found him hiding inside, and confirmed he did not have permission to be there.

A 30-year-old from Prince Albert has been charged with break and enter and breach of a court order. He was also due in court Tuesday.
